Watch the BBC Two series of talks about literature

- The Jane Austen Book Club, a novel and a film...

- Bride and Prejudice, a Bollywood version of Pride and Prejudice. Watch the trailer :

- Austenland, by Shannon hale, was published in 2007. The film was released in 2013.

- Lost in Austen is a 4-part mini series based on Pride and Prejudice.

- Death comes to Pemberley is a novel by the famous crime story writer P.D. James. The story is a sequel to Pride and Prejudice.

- Bridget Jones’ diary was written by Helen Fielding in 1996. The story was inspired by Pride and Prejudice, and involves a certain Mark darcy... The 2001 film based on the novel stars Colin Firth as Mark Darcy, a reference to his previous interpretation of Mr Darcy in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel.

- Several references can also be found f in St trinian’s :

When Colin Firth first makes his inspection of St Trinian’s, and is tossed out of the Posh Totty’s window, he walks to the hockey field wet, in a white shirt with his jacket over his arm. This is reminiscent of the part he played in the mini series Pride and Prejudice (1995), where he does a scene (the famous Lake scene !)in the exact same way as depicted here.
